Duck Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The South Shore Hiking Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Duck Pond. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Near Duck Pond you come across the Mount Pisgah Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; you can run the rapids of Moose River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; Kirby Pond is a lake that's next to Duck Pond, and a glorious

| | place for whitewater paddling is Clyde River. This lake is so wonderful. Lyndon Outing Club has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and Bemis Hill can be observed from Duck Pond. Camping is available at Burke Mountain Campgrounds, and Fairbanks Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. this neighborhood, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Lily Pond. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. There's no such thing as a bad
day of skiing at nearby Burke Mountain, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Bear Den Trail. Through the summertime at Duck Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures
