What a nice lake Duck Pond is. The warmest time of the year at Duck Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Duck Pond. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail, and delightful scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Lyndon

| | Outing Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Clyde River; if you've had enough of Duck Pond, Long Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Mount Pisgah Trail. There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Will-o-wood Campground is a glorious spot for that. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Duck Pond. A good close by hotel is Super 8 | |

Motel - Derby/Newport Area, and skiing at Burke Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. Having a great time in the Green Mountains is easy. Duck Pond is not the only site close by, Mud Pond is a close by lake; on
a gorgeous day you acquire a nice sight of Big Rock Hill from Duck Pond. A typical amount of rain falls here at Duck Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
After a long day outdoors Holiday Motel and Annex is a nice location to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Belview Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do
around Duck Pond; Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail is a glorious local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Barton River offers some pleasant whitewater.
