     Dry Pond is a nice lake to visit. Hilltop Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest; Dry Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Limehurst Lake is a wonderful local campground. Dry Pond is located in the Green Mountains. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Green Mountains. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn At Maplewood is a splendid choice, and a splendid place to camp here at Dry Pond is Lazy Lions Campground.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. At Dry Pond you always meet someone from Barre, and you can go for a hike on the Bear Hill Trail. Summertime highs at Dry Pond typically tend to be in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dry Pond. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Dry Pond. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go  
               whitewater paddling on Mad River, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Berlin Municipal Forest.
This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Don't leave Dry Pond without first going for a hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail; the slopes of Stowe are so inviting noone can resist. Dry Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail.
At Dry Pond you can observe Irish Hill, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Winooski River.
