Beautiful Dry Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail, and if you came to camp Lazy Lions Campground is a nice site to do that. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stowe since you're here. Throughout the days of summer here at Dry Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with

| | temperatures at Dry Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Winooski River, and after a long day outdoors Hilltop Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Don't leave Dry Pond without first going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail, and a magnificent close by hotel is Comfort Inn At Maplewood. | |

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Lots of folks from Barre come to Dry Pond. Lakes are perfect; Berlin Pond is a lake that's next to Dry Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dry Pond; Stevenson Brook
Trail is a nice local trail, and from Dry Pond you get a wonderful view of Irish Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Dry Pond, you'll locate Staples Pond which is a lovely lake. There's so much to do here at Dry Pond that
you need to camp here for a while, Limehurst Lake is a brilliant spot for that. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Mad River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Berlin Municipal Forest
is worth taking a look at. The yearly rainfall here at Dry Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month.
