Dry Pond is a place with many visitors from Barre, and hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail is tremendous fun. Berlin Municipal Forest is a tremendous local forest, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites at Maplewood. This lake is so wonderful. At Dry Pond you can spot Irish Hill, and Mad River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Dry Pond is right       by the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail; why not camp at Lazy Lions Campground since you're here at Dry Pond. Camping is available at Limehurst Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winooski River. Be careful coming to Dry Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. If you need a location to stay Hilltop Inn is a tremendous choice, of course you could also have a look at Berlin Pond while you're                  here; it's not far at all. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Stowe is right next door to Dry Pond. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So much exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. The Bear Hill Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake nearby is Vatters Pond. Dry Pond gets a common amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. During the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Dry Pond while night lows are regularly in the 50's.
