    Do stop by Dry Pond while you're in this part of Vermont. If you need a place to stay Hilltop Inn is a fine choice, and there's good hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail. If you get bored of Dry Pond, you could also stop by nearby Berlin Pond. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Stowe, and if you're popping by from Barre, you won't be the only one.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Green
 
   Mountains has to offer. Go for a hike on the Bear Hill Trail, and Vatters Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn At Maplewood, and Dry Pond is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Lazy Lions Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Dry Pond. Soar down the rapids of Mad River in a kayak,  
               and Limehurst Lake is a pleasant campground nearby.
Dry Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Green Mountains is great! Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River, and don't leave Dry Pond without first going for a hike along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail. Berlin Municipal Forest is a great local forest, and from Dry Pond you obtain a great vista of Irish Hill.
For the duration of the days of summer here at Dry Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Dry Pond dip into the 0's. The annual rain here at Dry Pond is about average; most of the rain falls during August while February is generally the driest month.
