     Summertime highs at Dobson Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Dobson Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kettle Pond Trail; you don’t have to go far from Dobson Pond to observe the water at Valley Lake Dam. Dobson Pond is located in the Green Mountains.

   River; Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is a fine campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop, and right next door to Dobson Pond you locate a golf course called Woodbury Golf Course. Just can't get enough of Dobson Pond. Glide down the rapids of Lamoille River - Wild Branch in a kayak, and there are other spots here than Dobson Pond, for example Goodall Pond.
Dobson Pond is a relatively
 
               wet place typically with much rain; most of the rain falls through August; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. The Inn at Montpelier is a good place to get some rest; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Stowe. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Green Mountains. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Barre Montpelier is a nice place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Valley Lake is around here.
That right there is a lot of amusing things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Take a hike on the Owls Head Trail; lots of folks from Barre come here. Idle Hours Campground is a wonderful local campground.

Hmm? Jay Peak seems like it has two peaks, shouldn't it be called Jay Peaks? But other than the confusing name I have no complaints. Lots of good runs....
