Deweys Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Deweys Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lake Pinneo is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; you can stay the night at K O A Kampgrounds. The skiing at Ascutney is brilliant; Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a great spot to get some rest.

| | and get yourself into a kayak and hit Connecticut River. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Go for a hike on the Slot Trail, and Pine Valley Resort Campground is a nice campground nearby. What a spot this is for outdoors people.
And if that's not enough there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Deweys Mills Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Fulling Brook. This lake | |

is so wonderful. Near Deweys Pond you hit upon the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails which is a great hiking trail; if you're here, you could also stop at pretty Lake Pinneo. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Deweys Pond, and
all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Deweys Pond fall into the 0's.
Life's too short
to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Deweys Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - White River Junction, and float down the rapids of Ottauquechee River in a kayak. Deweys Pond is located in the Green Mountains. This lake
is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Suicide Six is in the neighborhood of Deweys Pond, and going for a hike on the Futures Trail is always a great adventure.
