The North Shore Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Devils Pond, and paddling on Salmon River is so much fun. For the duration of the months of summer at Devils Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Devils Pond. This lake is so wonderful.       If the weather is good here at Devils Pond, you can go for a hike along the West Shore Trail; if you need a site to stay Stonehelm Motel is a nice choice. There is a good hiking trail near Devils Pond called the Southern Tip Trail; don't leave Devils Pond without first checking out Big Bluff. If you came for an overnight stay Alburg RV Resort is a pleasant location to camp; unsurprisingly Mud Creek is a striking stream that is worth checking out. You assume                  that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Mud Creek Dam; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge St. Albans. You are in close proximity to Balm of Gilead Point if you're here at Devils Pond, and you'll meet a lot of people from Burlington-South Burlington here. Devils Pond gets a normal amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.
