The fine folks of Burlington-South Burlington like to hang out close by, and Mud Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Southern Tip Trail; camping is available at Alburg RV Resort. Salmon River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. All through the summertime at Devils Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's.

| | All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Devils Pond are in the 0's. At Mud Creek Dam right next door to Devils Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see; a fine close by hotel is Econo Lodge Saint Albans. Yeah, come here to Devils Pond for a great time. you want to check out some interesting stuff, check out Big Bluff; camping at Goose Point Campground is always a glorious experience. An average amount of rainfall falls at Devils Pond; the month with most of the rain is August,
and January is the month with the least moisture. A spree to nearby Balm of Gilead Point is very relaxing, and Stonehelm Motel is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant neighborhood for people
who like lakes. Mud Creek Pond is a lake in close proximity, and nearby you locate the West Shore Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.

This place is well kept and clean. Close to all resorts for sight seeing. We camp there every summer.... |

 | 19 miles away More strainers in this river than I have ever seen, anywhere. Upper part to 87 could be a great run at about 2 1/2 feet(guage on bridge on salmon river rd.) Again, have to be aware of strainers, most are river wide. Dont bother with 87 east to lake champlain, mostly flat with over twenty beaver dams. Lots of leaches.... |
