    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Deer Park Pond. For the period of the warm months here at Deer Park Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Deer Park Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of North River, and Living Memorial Park has great slopes and a friendly  
   staff. So many exciting things close to Deer Park Pond, completely mind-boggling. Stay the night at Springbrook Family Camping Area; don't leave Deer Park Pond without first going for a hike along the Mount Olga Trail.
The top of Chase Hill is easily seen from Deer Park Pond, and why not pop by Deer Park Pond Dam since you're here. Some of the water close by flows, like Pond Brook, and glorious hiking is available along the Ghost Trail. This lake is so
 
               wonderful. Haystack is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and dry warm beds await you at Latchis Hotel.
Deer Park Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Moss Hollow Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby, and there's good hiking along the Sunset Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Deer Park Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
There's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Brattleboro is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
