to camp nearby, and there's good hiking along the Sunset Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Deer Park Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months
is February. There's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Brattleboro is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
