     Danville Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. And that's not all you can do here at Danville Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Coldwater Brook Trail, and soar down the rapids of Wells River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Big Deer Mountain Trail; a beautiful lake like Keiser Pond is a great place to stop by. Having a great time in the Green Mountains is simple.
 
   Go for a hike on the Peacham Bog Trail, and paddling on Joe's Brook River is so much fun. The skiing at Burke Mountain is perfect, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Keiser Pond.
But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Do check out Keiser Pond Dam if you're here at Danville Reservoir, and a magnificent location to camp here at Danville Reservoir is Injun Joe Court. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors
 
               fun stuff the area near Danville Reservoir has to offer. You don't must go far from Danville Reservoir to enjoy Danville Fire District Forest, and a day on the slopes of Lyndon Outing Club is just what you need. Danville Reservoir is a good spot of common rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Throughout the days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Danville Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Danville Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. It's a fine idea to visit Sawyer Brook, it's near Danville Reservoir, and if you need a site to stay Fairbanks Inn is a great choice. Danville Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Sugar Ridge RV Village & Camp is a perfect local campground, and a great close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites.

We have been campers on Ticklenaked Pond for 30 plus years and love it's pristine water and oh yes....the loons. We have now been seasonal campers for 8 years and plan on many more. This is a wonderful family campground with much to enjoy such as a fishing derby for the kids, pot luck dinners, karaoke, live bands at least a couple of times during the season, paddle boats to rent, swimming, boating, hot showers and many, many, wonderful folks.
The proprietors, Harry and Sandy Cushing are great hosts. Come join us for a night, a weekend or for the season.
