Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Daniels Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. From a rainfall point of view Daniels Pond is a relatively common place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so       many amusing things in one place! The Green Mountains is unbeatable! There are other locations here than Daniels Pond, for example Long Pond, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Barton River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Mount Pisgah Trail is always a fine adventure, and Lamoille River - Wild Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Daniels Pond truly is in the middle                  of a picturesque outdoors paradise. At Daniels Pond you can make out Beach Hill. Lakes? Sure, Sweeney Pond is nearby. Daniels Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Green Mountains has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Fairbanks Inn. There's so much to do here at Daniels Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Belview Campground is a nice place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Near Daniels Pond you hit upon the South Shore Hiking Trail which is a good hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Daniels Pond has to offer, you can camp at Tree Corners Family Campground.
