    In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Danby Pond is one of them. Danby Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. An average amount of rainfall falls at Danby Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. You just should go for the Green Mountains. Take a hike on the Baker Peak Trail, and why not take a little spree to Weatherby Brook since you're here.

   There are plenty of folks from Rutland here at Danby Pond, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bromley since you're here. Danby Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Campground A is a magnificent local campground. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Danby Pond reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for  
               Danby Pond.
These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. One of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Danby Pond is Colvin Hill; paddling on Mill River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Manchester View Fine Lodging is a nice place to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Mountain Trail. Very stunning scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Snow Valley. Lakes are fine; Chipman Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Danby Pond.
If you need a place to stay Inns at the Equinox is a great choice; whitewater paddling is great on Big Branch. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Otter Creek Campground is a glorious site to do that, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Lake Trail.
