Many people like to go to Danby Pond. After a long day outdoors Manchester View Fine Lodging is a great place to spend a night or two, and Danby Pond is not far at all from Rutland. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Mountain Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Mill River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Danby Pond has to

| | offer. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Otter Creek Campground is always a nice experience, and if you get bored of Danby Pond you could also visit nearby Chipman Lake. Danby Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Camping is available at Campground A; hiking along the Lake Trail is wonderful fun.
