Why not stop by Cutter Pond if you're passing through these parts. Summertime highs at Cutter Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Cutter Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. There's so much to do here at Cutter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Limehurst Lake is a good location for that, and don't leave Cutter Pond

| | without first going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winooski River, and after a long day outdoors Hollow Inn and Motel is a good place to spend a night or two. place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. White River - First Branch is a magnificent whitewater spot near Cutter Pond, and lots of people from Barre come here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green
Mountains. So many cool things to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. Clark Hill is clearly visible from Cutter Pond, and if you came to camp Lazy Lions Campground is a brilliant place to do that. Hiking is a popular thing
to do around Cutter Pond; Silver Ledge Trail is a brilliant local trail. Cutter Pond is a good spot of normal rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
Since you're here at Cutter Pond why not stop by Williamstown Gulf, and Staples Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out. There's splendid hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail, and if you need a location to stay Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier is a nice choice.
