After a long day outdoors Hollow Inn and Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and you're probably into lakes, Staples Pond is one of those nearby. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Green Mountains. River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; tremendous hiking is available along the Kettle Pond Trail. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. If you don't mind
getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River - First Branch, and Clark Hill is a peak you can see from Cutter Pond. Summertime highs at Cutter Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's; the night is rather chillier
of course, typically in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cutter Pond descend into the 0's. If you're here, you might as well have a look
at Williamstown Gulf; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Barre. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cutter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Lions Campground is a good
site for that, and hey, Gotta ski right? Twin Farms is a perfect location to do that. Don't leave Cutter Pond without first going for a hike along the Bear Hill Trail.
