Curtis Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Curtis Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. If the weather is wonderful here at Curtis Pond, you can go for a hike along the Kettle Pond Trail; Bliss Pond is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. The Owls Head Trail is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Curtis Pond, and Green Valley Campground is a splendid

| | local campground. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Green Mountains. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Curtis Pond called the Silver Ledge Trail, and Blackberry Hill can be seen from Curtis Pond. You're sure to bump into some great folks from Barre here, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Minister Brook. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Everybody close by loves skiing at Stowe, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Winooski River. For the period of the summertime at Curtis Pond temperatures are mostly in the 60's. During
the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Curtis Pond are in the 0's. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's
