For the duration of the warm days of summer at Crystal Pool highs are usually in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's while Crystal Pool nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. You'll meet a lot of folks from Barre here; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Sodom Pond. This       lake is so wonderful. Take a little journey to Beaver Meadow Brook since you're here at Crystal Pool, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Owls Head Trail. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. If you need a place to stay Hilltop Inn is a nice choice, and not far from Crystal Pool you'll hit upon Adamant Pond which is a charming lake. If you came for an overnight stay Onion River Campground                  is a perfect site to camp, and there are some good whitewater spots on Minister Brook. Crystal Pool sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. So much amusing stuff right next door to Crystal Pool, clearly striking. Dry warm beds await you at Barre-Days Inn Barre/Montpelier; hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Green Valley Campground; a magnificent forest close by is East Montpelier Municipal Forest. Going for a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; here at Crystal Pool you can catch a glimpse of Blackberry Hill. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Crystal Pool. Stowe is a pleasant local ski area. That right there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Winooski River offers some splendid whitewater, also Adamant Pond Dam is worth stopping at if you're here.
