| | or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. May Pond Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and Cemetery Hill is beautiful and can be distinguished from here. You can run the rapids of Barton River near Crystal Lake, and you can hit the slopes at Lyndon Outing Club in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Campground, and there are delightful sites to look at along the South Shore Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Clyde River is a good whitewater spot close to Crystal Lake; a lake close by is May Pond. Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport
Area is a brilliant location to get some rest; nearby you come across the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. An afternoon playing golf at Orleans Country Club is always a diversion, and Crystal Lake is
not the only site nearby, Round Pond is a nearby lake. During the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Crystal Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's,
and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Crystal Lake plunge into the 0's. From a rain point of view Crystal Lake is a pretty normal spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February
is when it's the driest. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do close to Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Belview Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby; going for a hike on the Mount Pisgah Trail is always a fine adventure.
