If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Crystal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Crystal Lake Dam if you're here at Crystal Lake; Clyde River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. On a good day at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail; you can stay the night at Will-o-wood Campground.

| | Be careful coming to Crystal Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Not far from Crystal Lake, you'll find Baker Pond which is a delightful lake.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Crystal Lake. On a beautiful day you get a sight of Cemetery Hill from Crystal Lake; Belview Campground is a good campground nearby. the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. There is a good hiking trail close to Crystal Lake called the Mount Pisgah Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Motel and Annex is a wonderful site to spend a night
or two.
Crystal Lake is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a great time. There are other spots here than Crystal Lake, for example Lake Parker, and going for a hike on the
South Shore Hiking Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Barton River; there's no such thing as
a bad day of skiing at nearby Burke Mountain.
Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area is a wonderful place to get some rest, and of course May Pond Brook flows through this vicinity. Throughout the warm months, highs commonly are in
the 70's at Crystal Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Crystal Lake. Orleans Country Club is a great golf course nearby, and great skiing awaits you at Lyndon Outing Club.
