Going for a hike on the Hang Glider Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and a day on the slopes of Twin Farms is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Crescent Lake called the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails, and there are plenty of folks from Lebanon here. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Green Mountains. Crescent Lake is not the only place nearby, Standing Pond is a nearby lake,

| | and drift down the rapids of Ompompanoosuc River - West Branch in a kayak. High temperatures at Crescent Lake through the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Crescent Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Lake. You could also stop at C C C Pond if you're here at Crescent Lake; it's nearby, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 White River Junction is a magnificent choice. There's a fine forest in the vicinity of Crescent Lake
called Charles Downer State Forest, and there are great places to look at along the Slot Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. The scenery at Crescent Lake Dam close to Crescent Lake is picturesque. There's so much
to do here at Crescent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, K O A Kampgrounds is a wonderful place for that. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Paddling on White River is so much fun, and
why not head up to Suicide Six and strap some skis to your feet. Crescent Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This
lake is so wonderful. Crescent Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Valley Resort Campground is a splendid local campground, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a nice location to spend a night or two.
