There's so much to do here at Cox Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Lake Family Campground is a wonderful location for that; dry warm beds await you at The Woodstock Inn & Resort. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Ottauquechee River offers some fine whitewater, and during your spree here

You're most likely hooked on lakes, Vondell Reservoir is one of those close by, and what would winter be without some skiing at Twin Farms. Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Cox Reservoir get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's, and night lows during
the winter for Cox Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Green Mountains has to offer. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cox Reservoir; Hang Glider Trail is a perfect local
trail, and Cox Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Meadow Brook Campgrounds is a great local campground. A quick tour to Beaver Brook near Cox Reservoir is a pleasant idea; at Cox District Reservoir Dam close to
Cox Reservoir there are some exciting things to see. Don't leave Cox Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails, and hey, Gotta ski right? Suicide Six is a good spot to do that. This lake
is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Woodstock Inn And Resort is a delightful choice, and you can see Biscuit Hill from Cox Reservoir. Cox Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
