| | Stop is a glorious site to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Cow Mountain Pond generally tend to be in the 70's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Cow Mountain Pond temperatures plunge to the-10's.

Berlin love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Cannon Mountain. The amount of precipitation that falls at Cow Mountain Pond is close to the national average; through the month of August you
get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Get dripping wet paddling on Israel River;
there are good places to explore along the Moose Trail. Cow Mountain Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Paddling on Nulhegan River is so much fun; Burke Mountain is a splendid local ski area.
And if that's not
sufficient there's loads more fun stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Near Cow Mountain Pond you discover the Loon Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and if you need a site to stay Coos Motor Inn is a wonderful choice.
