This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Yeah, come here to Cook Pond for a splendid time. A day on the slopes of Okemo is just what you need, and while you're here at Cook Pond, checking out The Pinnacle is a must. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Okemo Valley Golf Club; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Cook Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Hideaway Squirrel Hill Camp is a pleasant local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Jackson Gore Inn on Okemo Mountain. An average amount of rainfall falls at Cook Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! to explore, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bucklin Trail. This place, Cook Pond, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Ludlow Municipal Forest is a good forest vicinity near Cook Pond, and the Barnard Trail offers
hiking at its best. And if that's not enough there's heaps more cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. A great site to camp here at Cook Pond is Sugarhouse Campground, and whitewater paddling is splendid on West River. You could
also stop by Reservoir Pond while you're here at Cook Pond; it's close by, and there's always Reservoir Pond Dam to check out right next door to Cook Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Rescue is in the vicinity of Cook Pond; hiking
is a popular thing to do around Cook Pond; Juggernaut Trail is a great local trail. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Green Mountains. If you need a spot to stay The Pointe at
Castle Hill Resort is a fine choice It's always good to visit Buttermilk Falls. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Killington is near Cook Pond; some nearby water includes Branch Brook. During the warmest
time of the year highs here at Cook Pond reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cook Pond temperatures sink to the 10's.
