Why not stop by Colton Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Jimmy Dean Brook flows through this neighborhood; a nice nearby hotel is Grey Bonnet Inn. An average amount of rain falls at Colton Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Circle Trail is always a great adventure;

time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like White River Golf Course, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Killington.
High temperatures at Colton Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows at Colton Pond throughout
the winter ordinarily sink into the 0's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Colton Pond. If you came to camp White River Valley Camping is a great site to do that, and Sherburne Pass is another
perfect location to go to close by. Not far from Colton Pond you acquire some great water scenery at Colton Pond Dam; paddling on White River is so much fun. Go for a hike on the Bucklin Trail; get covered with water paddling on Mill
River. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Green Mountains. Good hiking is available along the South Pond Trail, and Chalet Killington is a great place to get some rest.
