What a nice lake Cole Pond is. Cole Pond is a wet site that gets a great deal of precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Cook Brook, and beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you obtain at Magic Mountain. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Green Mountains. Get your heart pumping

This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cole Pond you can take a hike along the Railroad Bed Trail, and why not camp at Horseshoe Acres Camp Grounds if you're here at Cole Pond. Green Mountains has it all. Londonderry Inn is a great location to get some rest, and there's whitewater on West River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
Going for a hike along the Overlook Trail will let you absorb the natural
beauty of this region; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stratton since you're here. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Cole Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly
cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cole Pond. This lake is so wonderful. One of the main characteristics of
the surroundings of Cole Pond is Shatterack Mountain.
Any time is a splendid time at Cole Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Stratton Mountain Inn, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Hamilton Falls Trail.
