A visit to Colby Pond is always a good idea. The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort is a fine place to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Williams River. Colby Pond regularly gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Colby Pond is located in the Green Mountains. Take a little tour to Barker Brook while you're here at Colby Pond; if you get bored of Colby Pond you

and if you came for an overnight stay Meadow Brook Campgrounds is a great place to camp. Having a tremendous time in the Green Mountains is painless. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails; on a
gorgeous day you get a perfect sight of The Alps from Colby Pond. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be. There's splendid hiking along the Juggernaut Trail; Sugarhouse Campground
is a great campground nearby. There's whitewater on Black River for all you adrenaline junkies, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ludlow Colonial Motel is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Reading Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore, and the Barnard Trail offers hiking at its best.
