     Why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Moon Pond Trail, and obviously Big Hollow Brook is a delightful stream that is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, check out East Bay if you're here at Coggman Pond; do stop at Whitehall Reservoir, it's a stunning lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga; you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Root Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western  
   Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a great location to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Coggman Pond; Bomoseen Hiking Loop is a delightful local trail.

From a rain point of view Coggman Pond is a rather common location; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. You're sure to come across some cheerful folks from Glens Falls here, and nearby you hit upon East Bay.
