    Go to Lake of the Clouds if you want to go to a nice lake. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake of the Clouds. A spree to Smugglers Notch is always fun; going for a hike on the The Long Trail is always a tremendous adventure. So much fun stuff in the Green Mountains, just astonishing. The view of Adams Apple from Lake of the Clouds is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. Stowe Mountain Lodge is a tremendous place to get  
   some rest, and there are plenty of people from Burlington-South Burlington here at Lake of the Clouds.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake of the Clouds is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Brewster River Campground is a delightful local campground; the landscape is dominated by the Green Mountains. A day on the slopes of Stowe is just what you need, and camping at Gold Brook Campground is always a brilliant experience. Lake of the Clouds is located
 
               in the Green Mountains.
Don't leave Lake of the Clouds without first going for a hike along the Nose Dive Trail, and why not head up to Smugglers Notch and strap some skis to your feet. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake of the Clouds a wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Lake of the Clouds, you might not ever want to return home again. A great place for whitewater paddling near Lake of the Clouds is Lamoille River, and you should absolutely take a look at Elephants Head while you're here.
Go for a hike on the Haselton Trail; after a long day outdoors Stowe Inn at The Mountain and Condominiums is a fine location to spend a night or two. For the period of the warm months highs here at Lake of the Clouds reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake of the Clouds. All year is a brilliant time in the Green Mountains if you love the outdoors. Lakes are pleasant; Sterling Pond is a lake that's near Lake of the Clouds; Big Spring is an inspiring spot to have a look at while here.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains. There's a forest here at Lake of the Clouds called Mount Mansfield State Forest, and Little River - West Branch is a delightful whitewater spot close by.
