Beautiful Clear Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Clear Pond gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Green Mountains. You get a good panorama of Umbrella Hill from Clear Pond, and Beaver Lake Dam is charming.

| | of summer here at Clear Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Clear Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. go whitewater paddling on Lamoille River - Wild Branch. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Everybody close by loves skiing at Stowe, and whitewater paddling is nice on Gihon River.
Dry warm beds await you at Plaza
Hotel, and you can stay the night at Lakeview Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sunset Motor Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Clear Pond is a good spot to camp, Mountain View Campground
is a good spot. Good hiking is available along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail, and if you've had enough of Clear Pond, Beaver Lake is nearby.
All year is a great time in the Green Mountains if you have a thing about the
outdoors. Some of the water nearby flows, like Wiley Brook, and Morrisville Village Forest is a forest that you can go to. At Clear Pond you always meet someone from Barre; hey, Gotta ski right? Smugglers Notch is a good place to do that. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Clear Pond.
