Camping at Chittenden Brook Campground is always a delightful experience, and there's tremendous hiking along the New Boston Trail. This site, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. You'll find a striking lake called North Pond near Chittenden Reservoir, and a delightful place to camp here at Chittenden Reservoir is Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest. A charming lake like Lefferts       Pond right next door to Chittenden Reservoir is a good site to stop by; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Pico Mountain. There's whitewater on Mill River for all you adrenaline people, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Killington. Chittenden Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime at Chittenden Reservoir comes with high temperatures                  in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Chittenden Reservoir. So much cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time.
