Don't leave Chipman Lake without first going for a hike along the Baker Peak Trail, and if you came to camp Otter Creek Campground is a good spot to do that. There are good places to explore along the Homer Stone Trail; Chipman Lake
is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Campground A is a glorious local campground. During the summer here at Chipman Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Chipman Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday
