    Go to Chester Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Green Mountains. If you need a site to stay Motel In the Meadow is a delightful choice, and Okemo is a good local ski area. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Black River. There's so much to do here at Chester Reservoir that you need to camp  
   here for a while, Hidden Valley Campgrounds is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Cavendish Inn is a great site to get some rest, and Mount Flamstead is clearly visible from Chester Reservoir.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. Chester Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Caton Place Campground is a good local campground, and the slopes of Ascutney are so inviting nobody can resist. A quick
 
               spree to Trebo Brook in the neighborhood of Chester Reservoir is a fine idea; going for a hike along the Hamilton Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Slot Trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wymans Falls. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Williams River; do take a hike on the Hang Glider Trail.
For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Chester Reservoir, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Chester Reservoir. An average amount of precipitation falls at Chester Reservoir; most of the rain falls during August; the driest of the months is February.
