If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Center Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. If you came to camp Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a perfect place to do that, and Center Pond is right by the Red Pine Trail. Summertime at Center Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are frequently

Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Green Mountains rules! Whitewater paddling is nice on Clyde River; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Motel and Annex. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at White Caps Campground is always a nice experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Shore Trail. Center Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so
wonderful. Hiking along the Loggers Loop Trail is brilliant fun; Burke Mountain is a good local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. The view of delightful Hawk Rock near Center Pond is tremendous, and some nearby water includes Sleeper
Brook.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Green Mountains has to offer. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mud Pond is in the vicinity of Center Pond, and Moose River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby.
