There are some splendid whitewater spots on New Haven River, and T-Bird Motor Inn is a fine site to get some rest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cedar Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Cedar Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. You could also have a look at Scott Pond if you're here at Cedar Lake; it's nearby, and Cedar Lake is right by the Beaver Meadow Trail. of year, Lewis Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and hiking along the Abbey Pond Trail is tremendous fun. The amount of precipitation that falls at Cedar Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout
August, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Cochran Ski Center, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn Burlington Williston is a
wonderful place to spend a night or two. Nearby lakes? Sure, Vergennes Watershed is in the neighborhood of Cedar Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Rivers Bend Campground is a good site to camp. So much exciting stuff
right next door to Cedar Lake, clearly phenomenal. The top of Mount Florona is easily made out from Cedar Lake, and Maple Hill Campsites is a great campground nearby.
