    Many people like to go to Cedar Lake. Lewis Creek is a great whitewater spot near Cedar Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cedar Lake; Jerusalem Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Abbey Pond Trail; T-Bird Motor Inn is a great site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott Burlington is a fine place to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck;  
   Cochran Ski Center is reasonably near.
You absolutely ought to like Cedar Lake. Cedar Lake gets a common amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Cedar Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Cedar Lake tend to
 
               be in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cedar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Hill Campsites is a tremendous spot for that, and Cedar Lake is not the only site nearby, Vergennes Watershed is a nearby lake. For you golfers we recommend close by Cedar Knoll Country Club, and Pond Brook is in the neighborhood of Cedar Lake and is always a joy to go to. The skiing at Mad River Glen is wonderful, and if you've had enough of Cedar Lake, Winona Lake is close by.
Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Cedar Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cedar Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rivers Bend Campground, and magnificent hiking is available along the Beaver Meadow Trail. A glorious vista of beautiful Mount Florona is available from Cedar Lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on New Haven River.
