    Beautiful Butler Pond has much to offer visitors. The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Waterbury-Stowe is a great place to spend a night or two; Butler Pond is not far at all from Barre.
Going for a hike along the Dalley Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Stowe is quite near. But wait, there's more to do close
 
   to Butler Pond. Stay the night at Gold Brook Campground, and do take a hike on the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Green Mountains. Butler Pond is a wonderful location to camp, Duxbury Campground is a wonderful location; paddling on Little River is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Stevenson Brook Trail is nice fun; float down the rapids of Winooski River in a kayak. The amount of precipitation
 
               that falls at Butler Pond is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. At Butler Pond through the summer highs are in the 60's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Butler Pond temperatures descend to the 0's.
So many enjoyable things in the Green Mountains, just impressive. Dry warm beds await you at Trapp Family Lodge, and Blush Hill Country Club is a golf course nearby. The skiing at Bolton Valley is tremendous, and getting to Crosset Brook from Butler Pond is painless.
