A visit to Butler Pond is always a good idea. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too good to be true. A tremendous nearby hotel is Maple Grove Cottages, and a day on the slopes of Killington is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Butler Pond is right by the Leicester Hollow Trail; the snow is perfect at Pico Mountain. Lots of folks from Rutland come to Butler Pond. Butler Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains.

| | All year is a splendid time in the Green Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Brandon Motor Lodge is a great choice, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Otter Creek. High temperatures at Butler Pond all through the long summer days are in the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Butler Pond dipping down into the 0's | |

through winter nights. Butler Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along
the Chandler Ridge Trail; Smoke Rise Family Campground is a pleasant campground here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Butler Pond; Duval Trail is a great local trail, and Clarendon River has a fine whitewater paddling spot
close by. This place, Butler Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff. You're probably hooked on lakes, Sargent Pond is one of those nearby; an afternoon playing golf at Proctor-Pittsford Country Club is always a bliss.
Camping at Butler Pond is glorious fun, Country Village Campgrounds is a glorious local campground; you don't have to go far to enjoy Proctor Village Municipal Forest.
