Beautiful Burr Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Killington if you're here, and this is a popular spot for folks from Rutland. Burr Pond is right by the Canty Trail, and a lake close by is Rutland City Reservoir. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Burr Pond. The view of Bald Peak from Burr Pond is picturesque, and picturesque scenery and good skiing

Trail offers hiking at its best. This location, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Hiking along the South Pond Trail is pleasant fun, as expected you could also pop by Chittenden Reservoir if you're here; it's
not far at all. Burr Pond is located in the Green Mountains. A splendid location to camp here at Burr Pond is Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarendon River. There are some
glorious whitewater spots on Mill River; for you golfers we recommend close by Proctor-Pittsford Country Club. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Burr Pond. The amount of precipitation that falls
at Burr Pond is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Iroquios Land Family if you're here at Burr Pond, and Best Western Inn & Suites Rutland/Killington is a nice site to get some rest.
