Keewaydin Trail
White Rocks, great trail 0.8 miles up. Trails interstect with AT, check map before you go up. Two water falls on the left. First one could be risky to see always a wet gorge. Second is off the AT a short way. At the top is a rock art garden where a sign for White Rocks cliff trail 0.2 to overlook, great view west north and south. The peak was quite higher at one time in the past. Looking down over the cliff edge are three seperate rock falls which is the old peak....

Easy going trail from Mt Tabor to Rocky Pond, a 4 mile round trip, 1 1/2 to 2 hour hike. The hike is well worth seeing this breath taking pond. Very secluded & peaceful with tent sites and one or two shelters. Over night stays are 5.00 per person, per night. If you love 'roughing it' camping, this is a great place to go. I am enclosing a picture i took on June 19th 2007....

Winona Lake
16 miles away
Winona Lake, or as it is known to the locals, Bristol Pond is Vermonts only 'real Peet bog'. The Lake offers about 100 acres of flat water...good for exploring in the canoe. The lake has a healthy population of very aggressive watersnakes, non-poisoness, but they like to get in boats...if you are curious about these creatures go to the two small Islands for a look....

Sugarbush
19 miles away
Sugarbush is so huge, I got lost....

Killington
