You get a great vista of Doughty Hill from Bullhead Pond; since you're here you should take a look at Benson Bay. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Stacy Brook while you're here at Bullhead Pond, and fine hiking is available along the Half Moon Pond Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. While you're here at Bullhead Pond, you could also take       a look at wonderful Root Pond, and Super 8 Motel Ticonderoga is a perfect spot to get some rest. Bullhead Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls all through August, and February is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bullhead Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights                  come with lows in the 0's to Bullhead Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Poultney River, and there's glorious hiking along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bullhead Pond has to offer, you can camp at Half Moon State Park Campground, and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Rutland here. Do take a look at Mud Pond near Bullhead Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and Bullhead Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a good site to camp nearby. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Bullhead Pond. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. On a perfect day you can go to Strong Swamp, a swamp right next door to Bullhead Pond; you can go for a hike on the Glen Lake Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains.
