The beauty of Bugbee Pond is reason enough to stop by. Bugbee Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Hagar Hill is clearly visible from Bugbee Pond, and Big Pond is a great lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Branch, and there are other places here than Bugbee Pond, for example Bugbee

You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bugbee Pond has to offer, you can camp at Red Mill Brook Campground, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Walloomsac River. Camps is a great spot for that, and hiking along the Atwood Trail is nice fun. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Haystack is a magnificent location to do that, and Bugbee Pond Dam is a place that is in the neighborhood of
Bugbee Pond. Throughout the summer months at Bugbee Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows at Bugbee Pond all through
the wintertime commonly dip into the 0's. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Bugbee Pond has it all. Here at Bugbee Pond there are plenty of people from Bennington. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Bennington,
and since you're here you can take a hike along the Molly Stark Trail. Very striking scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Mount Snow, and there are swamps here too, Beaver Meadows is in close proximity.

Deerfield River - West Branch
 | WOW. don't come here unless you been paddlin for some time. Although a bit easier than CL5 I have done in other states, this still comes at you fast. Not easy to find a place to stay if looking for a room as it was stated here. Wasn't hard to find a place and park for the night though and with a mini van with DVDs, we snuggled up nice, with noone to bother us. Oh yeah, nice and cool at night (although summer) glad we had a lot of blankets and ways to stay warm.... |

Lake Sadawga
 | 14 miles away 1 PHOTO ...ly loosing its natural appearance (not to mention killing the fish and environment) we should stop building around the world, this is one contribution to global warming and obviously the fact that we will eventually outgrow our environment. I suggest rebuilding ontop of old houses if you have the money to build a new house at all otherwise, renovate.I also wish to somehow reduce population which is nearly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water a... |
