This lake is so wonderful. Balm of Gilead Beach is a beach right next door to Brownington Pond that you can have a look at, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Pisgah East Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Brownington Pond will keep you coming back time and again. If you're here at Brownington Pond and you like golf, you can take a look at Newport Country Club, and lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Clyde Pond.

| | Really fine skiing awaits you at Lyndon Outing Club. All the outdoors exciting things in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Clyde River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail. do here at Brownington Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chargo Campground is a perfect spot for that, and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Little Salem Pond. For the duration of the summertime months highs here

 | I am suprised that I am being ask to be the first person to give input on this beautiful lake that spans northern VT into Canada. It is a lake that talks to you, as far as my opinion goes. I lived in Newport,Newport Center (Bear Mountain) and Noth Troy when I was bewtween the ages of 9-13. I am now 42!
I just recently went back to Newport and that beautiful lake that talked to me, and i think it helped me figure out a part of my life that has been a little bit difficult to understand and move ahead. I Do have somr pictures in some old photo albumd, and I will make an effort to submit, Agian I am Surprised I am the first to comment on this Lake, it is ,as far as I am concerned one of the wonder of NEW ENGLAND!... |
