Bristol Pond is a lake worth visiting. Bristol Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. All the outdoors amusing things close to Bristol Pond will keep you coming back many times. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mad River Glen, and Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a good place to get some rest. Sugarbush

Glide down the rapids of New Haven River in a kayak, and a great location like Bristol Flats here at Bristol Pond is too great to miss. If you came for an overnight stay Rivers Bend Campground is a fine site to camp, and close by you come across the Abbey Pond Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Second is off the AT a short way. At the top is a rock art garden where a sign for White Rocks cliff trail 0.2 to overlook, great view west north and south. Camping in Vermont is such a fun thing to do. All the nice local attractions in close proximity and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back persistently.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Fern Lake which is small and pristine. At this campground you will always have a delightful time. Getting to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Outdoor recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf at Neshobe Golf Club, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The folks who look after the campground and all the nice pastime activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.
