    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Branch Pond. During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Branch Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.                next door to Branch Pond will keep you coming back again and again. Dry warm beds await you at Inns at the Equinox, and Branch Pond is a location with many visitors from Bennington.
Branch Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Not far from Branch Pond, you'll hit upon Bourn Pond which is a beautiful lake, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Cooridor 7. All year is a glorious time in the Green Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Lye Brook Meadows is a delightful spot any time of year, and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Stratton.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Deerfield River - East Branch offers some splendid whitewater; if you're here you can take a hike along the Lye Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Beebe Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Branch Pond, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Branch Pond Trail. If you came to camp Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a great site to do that, and a round of golf at nearby Equinox Country Club is a delightful way to kill some time.
