     Vermont has many beautiful lakes and Lake Bomoseen is one of them. Lake Bomoseen is a good site of typical precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Looking for something close to Lake Bomoseen? Lake Bomoseen is in the vicinity, and don't leave Lake Bomoseen without first going for a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop. In the event that you don't mind  
   getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Poultney River, and why not visit Loves Marsh Dam since you're here.
Through the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Bomoseen get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Bomoseen. Highlander Motel is a glorious place to get some rest; Lake Bomoseen is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Bomoseen State Park Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby. There's great hiking along the Glen Lake Trail, and Sucker Brook is right next door to Lake Bomoseen and is always a joy to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. The Half Moon Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and there are plenty of people from Rutland here.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground is a nice local campground, and a wooded region nearby is Castleton Municipal Forest. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Bomoseen.
