Summer brings highs in the 80's to Bog Pond, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Bog Pond through the winter typically plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take some time to pop by Bradford Municipal Forest if you're here, and a fine place to camp here at Bog Pond is The Pastures Campground. This lake       is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Bog Pond called the Wrights Mountain Trail, and the nice folks of Lebanon like to hang out close by. Near Bog Pond you find the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Waits River, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard by Marriott Hanover Lebanon. On a brilliant day at Bog Pond you can take a hike along                  the Grimes Hill Road, and at Bog Pond you can spot Echo Mountain. There's whitewater on Ompompanoosuc River for all you adrenaline people, and Bog Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pastures Campground The is a magnificent local campground. What would winter be without some skiing at Whaleback, and Lake Morey is a nearby lake that you could visit. From a rainfall point of view Bog Pond is a pretty normal place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Bog Pond.
