    Why not stop by Blueberry Lake if you're passing through these parts. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River; there's great hiking along the Cooley Glen Trail. Blueberry Lake is located in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Sugarbush Condos is a great location to get some rest; not far from Blueberry Lake you'll find Lak Robinson which is a pretty lake.

   outdoors The Bridges Family Resort And Tennis Club is a fine place to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Mountain Trails Camping Area. The Catamount Cross Country Trail offers hiking at its best, and at Warren Lake Dam close to Blueberry Lake there are some interesting things to see. So many cool things to do at Blueberry Lake, so little time. Good hiking is available along the Clark Brook Trail; Blueberry Lake is a great place to visit for more  
               than one day, Duxbury Campground is a great place to camp nearby.
That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. The snow is splendid at Sugarbush, and the nice people of Barre like to hang out nearby. The amount of rain that falls at Blueberry Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mad River Glen is near Blueberry Lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sugarbush Golf Course is in close proximity.
This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Blueberry Lake, for example Warren Lake, and one of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Blueberry Lake is Rice Mountain. Summertime highs at Blueberry Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Blueberry Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This site rocks, just look at all the exciting things to do close to Blueberry Lake. A good place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Blueberry Lake is Ridley Brook.

Been to Chittenden Brook Campgound for the last 15 years now...Best place I have ever camped anywhere in New England...Great babbling brook, thick woods..and not many camp sites!! This is true rustic camping...the only things offered at the campground is an outhouse and a brook for bathing..(coldest water I've ever been in).. wonderful hiking trails... beautiful beaver pond.... and generally some wonderful people around to sit around a fire with!!...

South of Rutland rt 7 south to rt 140 east. Entrance is not easily seen. A up hill right off 140 then a quick left up hill, and a quick right again. Just a little sign. Before the right turn on 140 you will see white rocks used as drainage. the turn is shortly there after. Rocky road. Hope this helps....

White Rocks,great trail 0.8 miles up. Trails interstect with AT, check map before you go up. Two water falls on the left. First one could be risky to see always a wet gorge. Second is off the AT a short way. At the top is a rock art garden where a sign for White Rocks cliff trail 0.2 to overlook, great view west north and south. The peak was quite higher at one time in the past. Looking down over the cliff edge are three seperate rock falls which is the old peak....
