Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Blue Pond. Blue Pond is a reasonably wet place generally with much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest of the months is February. Mirror Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; after a long day outdoors Days Inn Barre Montpelier       is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Winooski River is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the Silver Ledge Trail. You completely must fancy the Green Mountains. While you're here at Blue Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Barre, and The Inn at Montpelier is a nice spot to get some rest. Yeah, come here to Blue Pond for a good time. Blue Pond is not the only place nearby, Cranberry Meadow Pond is                  a nearby lake; skiing at Stowe is one of those things you just have to do. Blue Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Minister Brook in a kayak; going for a hike on the Owls Head Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Green Valley Campground is a nice spot to camp, and if you've had enough of Blue Pond, Smith Pond is nearby. Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is a tremendous local campground, and close by you find the Kettle Pond Trail which is a good hiking trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Woodbury Golf Course, and swing by Dugar Brook it's a good site to have a look at.
