It's a fine idea to go to Hackett Brook, it's near Bloodsucker Pond; a great place for whitewater paddling is Williams River. slopes of close by Suicide Six, and the Futures Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Holiday Inn Express Springfield, Vt is a perfect location to get some rest, and Ascutney is a very popular ski area close by. After a long
day outdoors Rodeway Inn Claremont is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. During the summertime here at Bloodsucker Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter comes
with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Bloodsucker Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at The Farm Campground, and Springfield Reservoir is a wonderful lake nearby.
