Many people like to go to Bliss Pond. Bliss Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Sodom Pond, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Barre for sure. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Owls Head Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Stowe.

| | Beaver Meadow Brook if you're here at Bliss Pond, and there are some great whitewater spots on Minister Brook. So many enjoyable things to do at Bliss Pond, so little time. On a gorgeous day you acquire a panorama of Blackberry Hill from Bliss Pond, and some brilliant nature is available in Calais Town Forest. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Adamant Pond Dam near Bliss Pond is pretty, and a good nearby hotel is The Inn at Montpelier.

so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Silver Ledge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Lakes are great; Curtis Pond is a lake that's close to Bliss Pond. At Bliss Pond all through the summer highs are in
the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Bliss Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Winooski River.
There's so much to do here at Bliss Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Onion River Campground is a brilliant location for that.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Green Mountains.
Hilltop Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bliss Pond has to offer, you can camp at Green Valley Campground. This site rocks, just check out all the entertaining things to
do next to Bliss Pond. Take a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail. Bliss Pond is a reasonably wet place usually with much rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
