This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Mud Pond in the vicinity of Blake Pond, it's a striking lake; you can run the rapids of Barton River. This lake is so wonderful. Near Blake Pond you find the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail which is a great hiking trail; Joe's Brook River is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Green Mountains.       A stunning lake like Duck Pond in the vicinity of Blake Pond is a pleasant place to check out, and Lyndon Outing Club is a nice local ski area. And that's not all you can do here at Blake Pond. A magnificent close by hotel is Holiday Motel and Annex, and there are good places to discover along the Mount Pisgah Trail. At Blake Pond all through the summer highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are                  mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Blake Pond. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Blake Pond; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Blake Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Belview Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the South Shore Hiking Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Fairbanks Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest, and why not pop by nearby Chamberlain Brook while you're here at Blake Pond. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place!
