It's always fun to stop by Black Pond. This place, Black Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. There is a splendid hiking trail near Black Pond called the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial, and a splendid spot for whitewater paddling is Poultney River. A tremendous nearby hotel is The Middlebury Inn, and a wonderful spot to camp here at Black Pond is Bomoseen State Park Campground. This lake is so wonderful. | | than a day at, Half Moon State Park Campground is a brilliant local campground; Said Dam has magnificent water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Hortonia is a nearby lake that you could check out, and if you need a site to stay Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a magnificent choice. Going for a hike on the Glen Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and there are plenty of people from Rutland here at Black Pond. The amount of precipitation | |

that falls at Black Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A lake close by is Choate Pond, and close by you stumble on the
Half Moon Pond Trail which is a nice hiking trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Black Pond, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in
the 20's; night lows at Black Pond during the wintertime typically fall into the 0's. A round of golf at nearby Prospect Bay Country Club is a wonderful way to kill some time; swamps don’t sound that great but Beaver Meadow in the neighborhood of Black Pond is quite great.
