A lake nearby is Red Mill Pond; Deerfield River - East Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Billings Pond there are plenty of folks from Bennington, and Haystack has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things close to Billings Pond. Billings Pond commonly gets a good deal of rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is the month

| | with the least moisture. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Take a hike on the Atwood Trail, and if you came to camp Holysmoke Camps is a great site to do that. There's some flowing water close by, Little Pond Brook is a stream you can go to during your stay; why not take a refreshing hike along the Kelly Camp Trail. far at all. If you need a place to stay Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a great choice; you can hit the slopes at Mount Snow in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Billings Pond that you need
to camp here for a while, Red Mill Brook Campground is a delightful place for that; Adams Reservoir Dam has pleasant water scenery. Billings Pond is right by the Molly Stark Trail; whitewater paddling is splendid on Deerfield River.
High temperatures at Billings Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Billings Pond throughout the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's.
