Camping at Billings Pond is fine fun, Red Mill Brook Campground is a fine local campground; as expected Little Pond Brook flows through this region. You can run the rapids of Deerfield River - East Branch near Billings Pond; the Kelly Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Bennington here at Billings Pond, and Lakeview Motel is a glorious place to get some       rest. This lake is so wonderful. Adams Reservoir Dam is stunning and it's close to Billings Pond, of course you could also pop by Adams Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Billings Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Billings Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. A pleasant location for whitewater paddling next                  to Billings Pond is Deerfield River, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Snow. The skiing at Haystack is good.
