If you like lakes and you're in this part of Vermont you can check out Beecher Pond. High temperatures at Beecher Pond all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Beecher Pond dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rain that falls at Beecher Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a delightful campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Shore Trail is always a splendid adventure. Green Mountains. The trees of Brighton Municipal Forest are a splendid source of shade on hot summer days, and you must visit Eagle Point when you're here. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Nulhegan River, and don't leave Beecher Pond without first going for a hike along the Main Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Green Mountains. There are brilliant sites to explore along the Red Pine
Trail. Lakes are good; Spectacle Pond is a lake that's next to Beecher Pond. Here at Beecher Pond there are plenty of folks from Berlin. This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. The skiing at Burke Mountain is pleasant; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Clay Hill Brook.
