     A large amount of rainfall falls at Beaver Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by View Pond, and the Slot Trail offers hiking at its best. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Green Mountains, too splendid to be true. Connecticut River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's magnificent  
   hiking along the Hang Glider Trail.
Beaver Pond is located in the Green Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ascutney since you're here, and why not camp at K O A Kampgrounds if you're here at Beaver Pond. All year is a tremendous time in the Green Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Cady Brook is a glorious local stream, and don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal
 
               Trails.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Beaver Pond, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Beaver Pond plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn At Quechee Gorge is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Pine Valley Resort Campground. A great nearby hotel is The Woodstock Inn & Resort; on a delightful day you acquire a tremendous sight of Advent Hill from Beaver Pond.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Beaver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Suicide Six is one of those things you just must do, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ottauquechee River. Any time is a pleasant time at Beaver Pond if you like the outdoors. People from Lebanon love to come to Beaver Pond. Lakes are tremendous; Crystal Pond is a lake that's near Beaver Pond.
