Going for a hike on the Clark Brook Trail is always a magnificent adventure; dry warm beds await you at Sugarbush Condos. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Beaver Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Abel Mountain Campground is a good local campground, and do take some time to go to Roxbury State Forest while you're here. You clearly ought to like the Green Mountains. This is a fine area       for folks who like lakes. Wardner Pond is a lake in close proximity, and you can run the rapids of White River. Gotta ski! Sugarbush is a great spot to do that; there are great places to explore along the Cooley Glen Trail. Beaver Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. So many fun things to do at Beaver Pond, so little time. There is a fine hiking trail close to Beaver Pond called the                  Bear Hill Trail, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Mad River. This place is great, just explore all the fun things to do in the vicinity of Beaver Pond. Beaver Pond is a spot with many visitors from Barre.
