Beautiful Beaver Pond has much to offer visitors. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Flint Brook, and a good spot to camp here at Beaver Pond is Mountain Trails Camping Area. Mad River Glen has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and the peak of Belcher Hill can be seen from Beaver Pond. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. A glorious

| | nearby hotel is Weathertop Mountain Inn, and brilliant skiing awaits you at Sugarbush. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Sugarbush Condos is a delightful choice, and going for a hike on the Bear Hill Trail is always a good adventure. Beaver Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. Glide down the rapids of White River in a kayak; you can go for a hike on the Clark Brook Trail. Pond is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant forest next to Beaver Pond is Roxbury State Forest, and tremendous hiking is available
along the Cooley Glen Trail. If you're going to Beaver Pond from Barre, you won't be the only one. At Beaver Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For
the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Beaver Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here
in the Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Mad River offers some fine whitewater, and Beaver Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Abel Mountain Campground is a fine local campground.
